🤔 Wondering where to go shopping and not get ripped off on the price?
Below, I am going to leave you with a series of sections that will be useful to know when choosing an outlet, depending on your fashion tastes or the type of clothes you want, the distance, the schedule and more important things.
đź‘ś How many outlets are in Madrid?
Nowadays the number of outlets in the Spanish capital has skyrocketed considerably, due to different factors such as the increase in population, the increase in tourism and the need to dress well at a low price.
However, these facts have caused Madrid to have a total of more than 21 outlets of which in this article we will only touch on the most important ones, since many of them are small shops that are usually temporary.
➡️ Name of the outlets and brands
As mentioned above, there are many outlets in the capital, but in order not to make you dizzy with so much information, I will name the 3 main best outlets in Madrid that I assure you that you will be satisfied with them:
1. Las Rozas Village
This outlet in my opinion is the most spectacular of all, has 105 stores, of which more than 25 are luxury brands such as Gucci, Prada, Versace and more …
It is located on the outskirts of Madrid, just 30 minutes away by public transport.
It is one of the most chic outdoor enclosures in Madrid.
2. Las Rozas The Style Outlets
This outlet is more focused on sports brands such as Nike, Adidas, Asics and Puma as well as many others.
Not only does it have sports brands, it also has normal clothing brands. Although in my opinion for these brands, I would recommend you to go to Las Rozas Village or the outlet of El Corte Ingles de Arapiles.
Anyway, if you want to see the catalogue of brands that has this outlet you can click on the link on the name of the outlet.
Like Las Rozas village, this outlet is located on the outskirts of Madrid, about 30 minutes away by public transport. Between las rozas Village and las rozas the style outlet there is a very short distance. Only 3 minutes by public transport, so it is very easy to go to both places in the same day.
3. El Corte Inglés de Arapiles
This outlet corresponds to the largest chain of shopping centers in Spain: El Corte Inglés.
In order to get rid of leftover stock, they have created several outlets where brands of all kinds, including luxury brands, are offered at deep discount.
We can find brands such as Givenchy, Alexander Mcqueen, Versace, Blamain … and other mid-range brands such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and others.
⌛️ How far are the outlets from the center of Madrid?
As I mentioned before, the first two outlets located in the outskirts of Madrid called Las Rozas, are about 30 minutes away by public transport.
On the other hand, the outlet of El Corte Inglés de Arapiles is located in the same city on the street: Calle de Arapiles, 10.
The first two outlets in Las Rozas have free parking, but if you want to access the parking lot of El Corte Inglés de Arapiles, you have to pay a small fee depending on the time you stay there. Which is usually around 2.60 € per hour.
đź•’ Schedule of the outlets in Madrid
Normally the opening hours of the stores in Madrid are from 10 am to 9 pm, but the day of the week or holidays may also have an influence.
Las Rozas Village is open every day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. , except Saturdays, when it is open until 10 p.m. More info
Las Rozas Style Outlet opens every day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., regardless of the day of the week. More info
El Corte Inglés de Arapiles has a schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with modified hours on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. More info
đźš— How to get to the outlets?
Las Rozas Village
If you want to go to the two outlets located in Las Rozas, I would recommend you to use the car as a way of transportation as it is the fastest of all. But you could also book a chauffeur to the Las Rozas Village, as they have a shuttle service from the city center to their facilities, and here you have more information about it.
If either of these last two options does not convince you, there is also another alternative to reach the complex by train. From the same web site it explains exactly how to go by train to Las Rozas Village.
You can also go by bus, but in my opinion I think it is the longest option in terms of time and with more difficulties since you should make transfers and it is very easy to make mistakes.
Anyway, if you are interested in this means of transportation, the buses that go to Las Rozas Village are: 625, 629, 685 and FS1.
Las Rozas The Style Outlet
In my opinion this is the outlet a little more complex to reach even though it is so close to Las Rozas Village, they do not belong to the same company.
As I said before, the fastest way is by car, but if someone wants to go by public transport, the website of the company explains how to get to the enclosure by public transport.
El Corte Inglés de Arapiles
If you are in the center of the city, this option will be the most suitable for you.
In this case, I would not recommend the car as it is quite difficult to park in the center, or even parking if you are going to stay for a long period of time the ticket can be a bit expensive.
The best option is definitely to go by subway, and get off at “Quevedo station”, which belongs to line 2.
Here I leave you the website of the Metro of Madrid in case it helps you to know which lines to take from your origin to your destination.
🍽️ Are there restaurants or places to have a drink near the outlet?
Yes, in all the outlets there are places around that offer food and drinks, both to take away and to eat in the same restaurant.
At Las Rozas Village, there are restaurants within the same complex that offer breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner services at any time during shopping center hours. You can get discounts in restaurants for in-store purchases or if you register on their website.
In Las Rozas The Style Outlet, you can only find coffee shops where they can also offer you something to eat, but without being like a restaurant. More info
Being inside the city, in El Corte Inglés de Arapiles, you can also find a wide variety of places to eat around it. Since there is no food service inside the mall itself, there is no restaurant service. But just outside the outlet, next to it is a well-known sandwich place called Rodilla, where they offer food, coffee and other types of drinks.
